About Josh
Based in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Josh lives with his wife and two boys. He grew up on a produce farm in Pennsylvania and later ran his own roadside market. Josh is happier in a field or on a tailgate than sitting in an office. He manages the Northeast Gowan Seed trial farm and spends his summers walking fields throughout his territory, trialing new varieties. He works with all crops and specializes in sweet corn, tomatoes, and winter squash.

Dan is a vegetable seed consultant and Certified Crop Advisor based in Macedon, New York. With over a decade of experience in the vegetable seed industry, Dan has worked extensively in research, trials, and consulting to support farmers across the Northeast. He specializes in sweet corn, cabbage, squash, onions, and peppers. Dan provides growers with tailored advice to optimize their crops. Formerly the owner of a small vegetable and flower farm, he brings firsthand farming knowledge to his work. Dan lives in Macedon with his wife, Tess, and son, Rowan. He is passionate about helping growers succeed with top-performing varieties and practical expertise!

Maddie Frisbie
About Maddie
She was raised in Fort Myers, Florida, where her family has farmed for more than 20 years. Maddie has an agribusiness degree from the University of Illinois. She has worked with Gowan Seed for over five years and is focusing on product development to find the varieties that work best in her territory. Based in Illinois, Maddie loves working with growers and can't wait to work with you to find what will work best for your farm!

Tom Toole
About Tom
Tom is from Southeast Michigan and now lives in Rockford with his wife, Erin, and two teenage sons. He has been involved with ag retail since 1995. Tom started out scouting fields as well as a custom applicator. He left the business in 2000 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy, after serving 6 years on the East Coast Tom was honorably discharged. Tom then got back into Ag Retail for Crop Production Services in New England learning about fruit and vegetable production. In 2015 Tom and his family moved back to Michigan. Tom started working for Gowan in July of 2024, covering Michigan and Ontario. Be on the lookout for Tom as he is very eager to learn your operation.
